Richard Ritter

Bruce serves as the Senior Minister at Streatham Baptist Church since April 2025. With nearly three decades of ministry experience in the UK and South Africa, he is passionate about building Spirit-filled, multi-ethnic churches that are rooted in God’s Word and committed to justice, compassion, and disciple-making.

He has a heart to see people encounter Jesus, grow in maturity, and be equipped to live out their faith in everyday life. Bruce is married to Louise, and they have two grown daughters. In 2024, they became first-time grandparents—a joy they deeply cherish.

In his spare time, Bruce enjoys hiking, running, good coffee, and wine. A lifelong Leicester City fan (he served as the club’s chaplain from 2005 to 2009), he also loves the music of U2 and walking with others as they discover their purpose in God’s kingdom.
