We need more Church Leaders!

Elections on 25th May 2024

As church members, we all have an important role to play by nominating and electing Leaders from amongst our number.

Those nominated need to be spiritually mature, full church members.

Members also need to meet the Charity Commission requirements for Charity Trustees; these are explained on the nomination form.

How to Nominate members for Election at a Church Member's Meeting

Pray about whom God might be calling; you might think of an unlikely candidate!
Speak with church members who you think God is calling and ask them to prayerfully consider the idea.
Talk with any current or recent church leader to get more details and insight.
If the person is willing to consider becoming a Leader, ask them to contact Jenny Dowlen with their name, any additional contact details and which roles they are interested in.
Jenny will send them a New Leaders Pack, which will provide more information about church leadership, relevant role descriptions and a nomination form.
Return completed nomination forms (which include all signatures) to Jenny or the church office.
Information about candidates will be made available to church members before the next church members meeting.

Sunday 5th May 1pm - Completed nomination forms must be returned to Jenny Dowlen (including all signatures)
Sunday 12th May - Information about candidates will be made available to church members, to give us time to pray.

Thursday 25th May - Elections at the AGM.
