Leadership Team
Pastor Chris (Rev Chris Andre-Watson: Interim Team Leader) Chairs our "Wayforward" committee - the team responsible for appointing a new Senior Minister/Team Leader. During 2023, both of our associate ministers felt God calling them to new things, so as of January 2024, we're right in the middle of interviewing new Senior Ministers. This is quite an involved process and has included time spent together as church members, praying, seeking God, conversing and sharing together and a number of surveys, to ascertain what kind of qualities we are looking for in a Minister.
The full Leadership Team is made up of the Ministers alongside a number of elected members who meet to pray and seek God’s vision for the church. Lay leaders serve for a three-year term, and can be reappointed for a second three-year term before a mandatory sabbatical of at least one year.
