Jeannie Kendall

Jeannie is Cornish in origin, coming to London to train as a teacher in 1972. She found Lewin in the first week and has been here ever since! She began working for the church in 1982 and has served in a variety of roles: outreach with books from Manna Christian Centre, setting up and running an evangelistic coffee shop ministry, setting up and running a counselling service, and, since 2000 back in the church, becoming ordained in 2005.

Jeannie's current responsibilities, in addition to leading services and preaching, are mainly pastoral, including oversight of the pastoral visiting team and the link person for Healing Rooms and Prayer ministry as well as her own visiting and one to one work. From 1st november she will be on sabbatical for three months, returning to her original background of mission focus by looking at new ways of reaching out and emerging church
